New IREC Agency Disclosure Brochure Effective July 1, 2025
The Idaho Real Estate Commission (IREC) has released an updated Agency Disclosure Brochure effective July 1, 2025. This important resource helps consumers clearly understand the nature of relationships they may have with brokerages during real estate transactions. The brochure highlights the key differences between being a Customer and becoming a Client: Customers: If you choose to remain a customer, a brokerage is not obligated to keep your information confidential or to actively promote and protect your interests. Clients: By signing a Representation Agreement and becoming a client, you gain access to dedicated brokerage representation.
