Helping a Buyer or Seller purchase or sell a property with a well? Or does the property use a community well? Is the property in a ground water management area? Did you know Idaho law changed July 1, 2025 and the changes could mean the property cannot use well water for irrigation including water for the properties lawn? The new law requires a sperate water right in critical ground water management areas for traditional uses like irrigating a lawn. Read IDWR’s Memo Not sure if the property is impacted? This important resource helps consumers clearly understand the nature of relationships they may have with brokerages during real estate transactions. The brochure highlights the key differences between being a Customer and becoming a Client: Customers: If you choose to remain a customer, a brokerage is not obligated to keep your information confidential or to actively promote and protect your interests.
