Chris Bird

If you are looking for a lively speaker who has timely content on tax issues facing today’s REALTOR, you have come to the right place! Chris makes what is sometimes a boring topic easy to understand and adds in some fun.

Chris Bird has been in the financial business for over 30 years. He started his career with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP).

Chris was a Senior IRS agent for 16 years. He began conducting courses after leaving the IRS and started his own company, Chris Bird Seminars, Inc. Chris went on to conduct over 125 seminars a year on taxes, wealth building, residential rental property ownership, and tax strategies for the real estate and financial industries nationwide.

Chris was an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois in tax law for over 20 years. He is a Certified CRS Instructor. He currently holds his real estate license in Illinois. Chris has a unique way of making a tough subject (taxes and investments) entertaining and enlightening at the same time.

Rick Harris, ABR, CIPS, CRS, ePro, GRI, SRS, SFR

Rick Harris is a long-time Owner/Broker and Principal at Rick Harris Seminars, a real estate training and strategic facilitation company based in Ashland, Oregon.

He is a dynamic international speaker with a wealth of practical, hands-on real estate experience–nearly thirty years of in-the-trenches work with buyers, sellers and brokers in residential, multi-family and commercial transactions.

His “solution-based” training focuses on the nuts and bolts skills so vital in today’s marketplace — buyer and seller representation, real estate teams, negotiation techniques, risk management, business ethics, leadership and strategic planning.

Sam Huff

Sam has been in Real Estate for over 10 years in which time he has been a Top Producer every year and led the company in sales. Sam became involved in Law Enforcement in 1990 and has worked in the areas of Gang Enforcement, SWAT and Mountain Bike Patrol.

Mr. Huff has instructed for the Idaho Peace Officers Academy covering tactics and gang enforcement. He has lectured throughout the Northwest and served 10 years as the Idaho Vice President of the Northwest Gang Investigators Association.

Sam is an Idaho native. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving, hunting, and running but most of all spending time with his wife, Ronni, and their two sons, Josh and Jacob.

Rich Sands, MS, CRS, REBAC

There isn’t a time when Rich Sands doesn’t remember leading a class full of students. For fifteen years he brought out the best in high school students. He took that leadership to the real estate industry where he rose to the position of Director of Education, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Colorado and revolutionized the company’s training services for more than 2,000 managers, agents and staff.

Now, an experienced international presenter, instructor, and keynote specialist, Rich specializes in helping people master their sales skills in any situation. His flagship presentations, “Why Your Grandparents Should Direct Your Marketing,” and “Your Peak Performance Edge” integrate the key practices needed to engage and impress consumers of all kinds.

Presently, he is President of Rich Sands Seminars and works closely with international real estate franchise systems, independent brokerages and companies in all industries that want to bring out the best in their people. As a NAR/REBAC and Certified CRS instructor, he conducts dozens of courses each year for the National Association of REALTORS® and Council of Residential Specialists.

While Peak Performance is Rich’s passion, it is not the only one. He began running in 1966, ran collegiately and continues to “pound the pavement and the trails” having competed in over 500 races including 17 marathons and logging over 111,000 miles. Rich and his wife, Linda, live near Denver, Colorado. She is a kitchen and closet designer and a runner and elliptical girl. He has two sons: Matt and Ryan and two step-daughters: Angela and Alicia.
