Department of Justice Appeal Update

Idaho REALTORS® has shared the following response from Katrina Wehr, 2024 Idaho REALTORS® President, regarding today’s announcement related to the Department of Justice appeal. This response was shared on social media earlier today. Today a federal court of appeals sided with the Department of Justice that a lower court incorrectly prohibited it from reopening an investigation of NAR and the association’s compensation policies. Katie Johnson, NAR Chief Legal Officer, released the following statement today: “As articulated by Judge Walker in his dissenting opinion, NAR believes that the government should be held to the terms of its contracts.
