Safe Business = Smart Business
Developed in partnership with NAR’s REALTOR® Safety Program, Real Estate Safety Matters: Safe Business = Smart Business is a three-hour course that teaches real estate professionals how to limit risk and increase safety for themselves and their clients.
Students will learn how to assess potential risks and develop safety protocols for client meetings, open houses, showings, online interactions, and other business activities.
The course will guide students through strategies for data security, including protecting personal and electronic information for real estate professionals and the clients they serve. As a practical resource, this course offers easy-to-remember strategies for responding to threats and attacks and when facing potentially dangerous situations.

Instructor: Sam Huff
Sam has been in Real Estate for over 10 years in which time he has been a Top Producer every year and led the company in sales. Sam became involved in Law Enforcement in 1990 and has worked in the areas of Gang Enforcement, SWAT and Mountain Bike Patrol.
Mr. Huff has instructed for the Idaho Peace Officers Academy covering tactics and gang enforcement. He has lectured throughout the Northwest and served 10 years as the Idaho Vice President of the Northwest Gang Investigators Association.
Sam is an Idaho native. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving, hunting, and running but most of all spending time with his wife, Ronni, and their two sons, Josh and Jacob.
