Idaho’s Riding With the Brand Event
The Riding with the Brand event in Idaho was an incredible success! The event was held at the Idaho State Capitol Building on a brisk, but beautiful April afternoon, where members gathered to celebrate REALTOR® pride and community involvement. Over 200 REALTOR® members attended the event and were fortunate to hear from an impressive lineup of speakers which included Idaho Governor Brad Little, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) President Kenny Parcell, and Idaho’s own NAR President Elect Tracy Kasper. They discussed important topics such as REALTOR® advocacy, brand identity, and the Code of the West.
The Idaho event was more than just speeches as the festivities included a wide variety of activities and prizes. Members participated in games like cornhole and putt-putt golf, and even had a chance to ride a mechanical bull for a chance to win raffle tickets. A raffle was held with winners taking home prizes such as a new Traeger grill, a cruiser bike in REALTOR® blue, tickets to a local rodeo, and passes for a white-water rafting trip.
Touring the Riding with the Brand bus was a highlight of the day, providing members with a unique opportunity to connect with fellow REALTORS®, snap some photos, and learn more about the Riding with the Brand message.
After the event, members joined together for a scenic bike ride along the Boise greenbelt led by Idaho President Denise Lundy, with NAR President Kenny Parcell biking along with the group. Having NAR leadership interacting directly with Idaho membership truly epitomized what Riding with the Brand is all about. The REALTOR® brand is a family and we are all connected on local, state, and national levels.
