Connected Conversations: Staying Connected, Informed, and Engaged in 2026

Idaho REALTORS® President Michelle Bailey is launching Connected Conversations, a monthly video series designed to share what’s happening in real estate across Idaho—and why it matters to homeowners, buyers, sellers, and communities.

Throughout the year, Idaho REALTORS® will be working on policy updates, leadership development, and new ways to connect directly with REALTORS® and the public across the state. Through Connected Conversations, Michelle hopes to provide greater transparency, understanding, and insight into how REALTORS® serve Idaho communities every day.

February: Advocacy and the Legislative Session

In this February edition of Connected Conversations, Idaho REALTORS® President Michelle Bailey sits down with Government Affairs Director Max Pond to talk about what the start of the legislative session means for REALTORS® across the state.

Together, they discuss how REALTOR® advocacy works day to day, the role of the Legislative Committee, and why engagement throughout the session—not just on REALTOR® Day at the Capitol—makes a difference. Max shares insight into key issues lawmakers are considering this year, while Michelle highlights the many ways REALTORS® can stay involved locally and statewide.

The conversation also explores how RPAC supports advocacy efforts, the importance of voting and participation, and why REALTOR® voices are so influential with policymakers. Whether you’re deeply involved in advocacy or just starting to learn how it works, this video offers a clear look at how Idaho REALTORS® protect property rights, support homeownership, and advocate for their communities.

January: Setting the Course for 2026

In this January kickoff, Michelle reflects on a strong start to 2026 for Idaho REALTORS®, highlighting continued growth and strong member engagement. That momentum comes from a clear focus from Idaho REALTORS® on delivering real value and helping members navigate an increasingly complex professional landscape.

Looking ahead, Michelle highlights REALTOR® Day at the Capitol as an important upcoming opportunity to engage with lawmakers and advocate for homeownership, private property rights, and small businesses.

Michelle also speaks to the importance of professionalism and integrity during times of change. While markets shift and the real estate industry continues to evolve, she emphasizes that REALTORS® remain committed to guiding consumers with clarity, experience, and ethical standards.
