Tracy Kasper Named Vice-President of Advocacy for the National Association of REALTORS®

The National Association of REALTORS® 2019 President, John Smaby, has appointed local agency owner Tracy Kasper as Vice President of Advocacy.

Tracy is the first Idahoan to hold such a position in the 100-year history of the NAR.

 “Every year, the NAR President appoints two Vice Presidents to serve on a seven-member volunteer leadership team to oversee 1.3 million members. Tracy will be the Vice President of Advocacy, which is a very important job. She is very prepared and is one of the most talented leaders in our industry.” said John Smaby, the incoming President of the NAR.

Tracy has been in real estate for more than 26 years and is the Designated Broker and Sole Owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Silverhawk Realty. As an active REALTOR®, Kasper has experience in several areas of real estate with an emphasis in New Construction and Development. She has 80 REALTOR®’s in 7 office locations across the Treasure Valley and into Oregon.

Tracy has a long history of serving in volunteer leadership positions. She served as the 2016 President of the Idaho REALTORS®, the 2001 President of the Nampa Association of REALTORS®, is a past Idaho RPAC trustee, and has served on several other state, national, and local committees over the years. She has also served as Chairman of the Board for the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce (2009). Kasper was honored as REALTOR® of the Year for the Caldwell Board (2011), the Nampa Association (2001) and the Idaho REALTORS® (2016).
