The renewal deadline for the Commission’s group E&O insurance policy

The renewal deadline for the Commission’s group E&O insurance policy with Rice Insurance Services (RISC) is fast approaching. The policy expires at the end of the month and coverage MUST be renewed prior to 11:59 p.m. on September 30 to be in compliance with the license law. Renew online at www.risceo.com (an additional convenience fee will be charged for online payments) or mail your renewal payment to RISC so it gets there before the policy expiration.

Although the Commission’s group policy is with RISC, you may choose to obtain your insurance with another company as long as the company meets the Commission’s minimum E&O insurance requirements. If you purchase independent E&O insurance, you are responsible for ensuring that the correct proof of coverage form (REE-141 or REE-142) is submitted to the Commission.
