2022 IR Scholarship Winners


Idaho REALTORS® Award 2022 Scholarships to Community-Minded Students

Idaho REALTORS®, the voice of Real Estate in Idaho, is announcing its six scholarship recipients for 2022. The scholarship recipients are attending an Idaho college or university in the fall and earned the awards through academics, achievement, and community service.

“Idaho REALTORS® is honored to provide scholarship support to the amazing students selected to receive this year’s various scholarships,” said Patrick Malone, President, Idaho REALTORS® Association. “Their pursuit of higher education will positively impact their futures, as well as their families and their communities. We look forward to seeing the bright futures ahead of these incredible students.”

The recipient of the top Idaho REALTORS® scholarship of $2,500 is Rachel Smith. Rachel is currently a REALTOR® for Satori Realty and has worked as a real estate assistant for the past three years. Rachel has worked in the marketing industry since she was 16 years old. She lives in Rathdrum and will be attending the University of Idaho this fall where she plans to study forensic chemistry.

The five recipients of the $1,500 scholarships are:

Erika Bishop (Meridian): Attending Boise State University this fall as a freshman. 

She has participated in gymnastics, soccer, spring-board diving, cheerleading, and a few others throughout her academic career, as well as being a participant in many volunteer opportunities through her church and high school’s National Honor Society. At BSU, she is planning on majoring in Kinesiology while minoring in Psychology and then proceeding into a master’s program where she will earn a degree in athletic training. 

Keagan Bruce (Payette): Attending Boise State University to study business with his brother and hopes to go into a field based around Real Estate and Real Estate investments. As a young adult, he has found that he is very interested in Real Estate investing.

Nathan Elija Lopez (Idaho Falls): Attending the College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls this fall where he plans to study Real Estate with an emphasis on Appraising. In his free time, Nathan enjoys working on cars. 

Marina Lundy (Boise): Attending Boise State University this fall as a Senior. Marina’s focus is on Environmental Studies and Urban Development, and she has earned a certificate in GIS and mapping. She has been accepted to the Accelerated Masters Program for Public Policy and Administration and is looking forward to a career in city planning and growth management. 

Anja Rice (Garden City): Attending the University of Idaho this fall where she plans to pursue her

dream of becoming an environmental architect with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Anja is a 2022 Boise High School graduate with a passion for the arts, and she has participated in choir, and orchestra, and has been an active competitive champion Irish step-dancer for over 12 years. Anja has an interest in Interior Design and maintained a 4.0+ GPA.
