Recording: Safety Webinar – From Vulnerable to Vigilant, Practical Safety for Agents in the Field

Safety in the field is a year-round responsibility, and Idaho REALTORS® is pleased to make this webinar available on demand for members who couldn’t attend live.

In From Vulnerable to Vigilant, Vanessa Martin draws on her military background to approach agent safety the way the Army approaches an after action review: study what happened, learn from it, and rehearse what you would do. She covers best practices before and during showings, specific precautions for open houses, a range of personal protection options, and the role technology can play when you can’t call for help yourself. She also walks through several real cases from across the country.

Vanessa is the Co-Founder of Tether RE, a safety platform founded in Twin Falls that provides real-time emergency assistance and support for real estate professionals in the field. She is an Army combat veteran and a two-time Pitch Battle Champion who is passionate about showing how smart safety practices and technology can work together to save lives.
