GRI 102 – Professional Standards
Ethics; Risk Reduction

Ethical business practice and proactive risk management are the foundation of every successful real estate career. This two-day course includes lively sessions on the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and its enforcement, along with practical training in identifying, managing and avoiding the inherent risks in the real estate business.

The Fork in the Road examines your ethical obligations in every day real estate situations, the practical application of the Code, the mediation and arbitration of disputes between agents and consumers, and the process for enforcing professional standards amongst REALTORS®.

Real Estate is Risky Business teaches students how to anticipate and avoid the most common risk factors in real estate transactions—inadequate disclosure, negligence and misrepresentation–using specific techniques to proactively manage their risk and protect their clients’ interests.
