IR Awards 2017 Scholarships

Faith Dilmore

Daughter of long-time Boise-area REALTORS®, Will and Angie Dilmore, graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in May 2017. During her childhood, Faith pursued multiple different sports and hobbies, including gymnastics, art, piano, and competitive cheerleading. While she enjoyed each activity, long-distance running ultimately captured her heart in 2012, as she raced alongside her older sister, Paige, for Rocky’s Track and Field team. Her passion for the sport grew into a dream to compete at the collegiate level. This dream of running while earning an education manifested when Faith committed to University of Idaho. Here, in addition to running, Faith hopes to marry business and art to positively impact the world. On the weekends, Faith’s constant laughter can be heard from afar as she enjoys time with friends, family, and her beloved dog, Red.

Michael Koeger

As a student at Boise State University, Michael am pursuing a degree in Business Economics and Finance. He wants to continue working with his parents as a REALTOR® while getting his degree. After his undergraduate studies, he wants to attend law school and continue his work in the real estate industry, focusing more on property development. Working as a REALTOR® has taught him how important it is to pay attention to the small details and how to communicate professionally with people, which he knows will continue to help me in his academic career.

Michelle Watkins, SFR

Michelle has been a real estate agent since 2006. Michelle became certified as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource with the National Association of REALTORS® in 2007, and assists buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate.

Michelle has been married to her high school sweetheart, Lee Watkins, for 33 years, and has 4 sons, 3 daughters-in-law and 8 grandchildren (all 4 years old and younger).  After putting her sons through school, as well as her husband, she decided it was finally her turn, and has been working full time and attending school full time with the plan of earning her MBA.  She is working hard and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and is extremely grateful for the opportunities the IR Scholarship provides.  She plans on utilizing her MBA to help The American Dream Foundation succeed to the fullest extent possible.

Michelle is a co-founder of an affordable housing non-profit, The American Dream Foundation.  The American Dream Foundation is still in its early stages, and has high hopes of being the only affordable housing program of its kind in the Idaho Falls area.  Its business plan involves helping Veterans, Low Income Families and Single Parents buy a newly renovated or newly constructed home of their own, in a neighborhood where they can be a vital part of their  community, as well as feel safe and secure.

Niko Icardo

Niko is a motivated learner interested in physics and mathematics. He is currently pursuing two separate bachelor degrees in the physics and mathematics and intends to attain a doctorate in physics. His ambition is to utilize those degrees to help further the understanding of the universe and world. The mysteries surrounding their dynamics and structure are what he has always felt most compelled to solve. Aside from academic interests, he spend my spare time reading, hiking, riding bikes and playing games such as chess. He would like to thank the foundation for the scholarship. Along with other contributions, this money aids him tremendously in my academic endeavor and is ultimately enabling him to accomplish his ambitions.

Mary Fioravanti

Mary strives to make a difference in the community and in the beautiful state of Idaho! Her joy and hobbies include singing, dancing, baseball, and ultimate frisbee! This year she will study business, marketing, and accounting through North Idaho College. Her goal is to own a successful business one day.
